ORRUM — Lumber River State Park will host its annual Lumber River Day Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The festival will include canoe rides and races, booths and exhibits, a kids fishing contest, casting contest, a kids wet t-shirt race, door prizes, bluegrass music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors and a special presentation by the 2016 Lumbee Ambassadors. Events will be held at the Princess Ann access area, at 2819 Princess Ann Road in Orrum.
