RED SPRINGS — Twenty pounds of marijuana, cocaine and pills were seized this week from the home of a Red Springs man, according to Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey.

Quentin Ray Locklear, 30, was arrested Thursday at his home on Mt. Zion Church Road and charged with trafficking marijuana, conspiracy to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule II drug.

According to Sealey, the Fayetteville Police Department had been conducting surveillance of Locklear in relation to drug activity. The Sheriff’s Office assisted in that investigation, leading to Locklear’s arrest on Thursday.

In addition to the marijuana, prescription pills and about 12 grams of cocaine were seized, according to an arrest report.

Sealey said the investigation is ongoing.

Locklear was jailed under a $100,000 bond.
