11 vehicles broken into

LUMBERTON — Eleven vehicles located within a two-mile stretch in Lumberton were reportedly broken into early Monday.

According to police reports, all of the break-ins occurred between 7 and 8:30 a.m. Items were only reported stolen from a few of the vehicles, and in some cases the vehicles were unlocked. None of the reports listed property damage.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Wesley Pines Road; North Walnut Street; Lindsey Court; Elmhurst Drive; Kale Drive; andP ine Run Drive, where a car was broken into and stolen before it was recovered. Among the items reportedly stolen were a laptop, umbrella, a flashlight, keys and a security card.
