LUMBERTON — Arts on Elm returns on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Robeson County Arts Council invites the public to walk down Elm Street between 10th and 15th streets , where there will be music, food, and 17 artists. There will also be events for children, a flash mob, a string quartet and more.

The music will be located under a tent in the lot next to First Presbyterian Church at 10th and Chestnut streets.

Events for children, staged by Iliano Claudio, will be featured along the sidewalks. There will be a food truck and exhibits by the Lumberton Visitors Bureau, the Master Gardeners and the Robeson County Humane Society.

Participating artists include Jennifer McIntyre, Nila Chamberlain, Ilse Oxendine, Kathering Kinlaw, Patty Speights, Alejandra Barfield, Jim Tripp, Sandi Carter, Charlotte Thompson, Jane Adams Gibson, Annette Wallwork, Linda Price, Rob Gable and Melvin Morris.

The musical performance schedule is 10 a.m., Lakota John and Kin, blues; 10:30 a.m., Betty Fisher, accordion; 11 a.m., Monique Singletary, violin and string quartet; 11:30 a.m., Mark Andersen, Harp; 11:45 a.m., Purple Door Productions, flash mob and vocals; 12:30 p.m., Mark Andersen, harp; 12:45 p.m., Lakota John and Kin, blues; and 1:30 p.m., Betty Fisher, accordion.

It is the second edition of Arts on Elm.
