Thefts

Trey Locklear, of Cherokee Street, Pembroke, reported Tuesday that a gold Ford Taurus belonging to Jennifer Vance, of Monroe, was stolen from Walmart on West Fifth Streeet in Lumberton, according to a police report.

Shania Dial, of McMillan Road, Maxton, reported Tuesday that someone broke into her car at Texas Steakhouse on Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, causing $300 in damage to a window, and stole her $100 pocketbook, $20 wallet, her license and her Social Security card, according to a police report.

Rita McGee, of East 11th Street, Lumberton, reported Monday that someone broke into her house, causing $500 in damage to a door, and stole three rings valued at a total of $1,500; $50 worth of medication; $500 worth of coins; two watches valued at a total of $350; and a $500 necklace, according to a police report.

Anthony Sanders, of Owen Drive, Lumberton, reported Tuesday that an $80 mp3 player and $330 worth of medication were stolen from him at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, according to a police report.

Gary and Irene Pitt, of Nokomois, Florida, reported Tuesday that someone broke into their car at Holiday Inn on Wintergreen Drive in Lumberton and stole $750 worth of clothing, shoes and suitcases, according to a police report.
