RENNERT — The town of Rennert recently donated $2,500 to local schools.
Rex-Rennert Elementary, St. Pauls Middle, St. Pauls High, Red Springs Middle and Red Springs High Schools each received $500 from the office of the mayor to pay for End of Grade testing incentives.
Investing money in children has been a tradition in Rennert that began with former Mayor Michael Locklear and has continued with current Mayor Elizabeth Locklear.
