LUMBERTON — On Monday, the eve of primary elections, the Robeson County Board of Commissioners will hold a regular monthly meeting that based on the meeting agenda will be light on business.


Agenda items include:


— Three public hearings on requests for conditional-use permits. The permits would allow for the establishment and operation of a hair salon in the Saddletree community; the establishment and operation of a tree cutting and removal service in Parkton; and the placement of a third dwelling on property in Back Swamp.


— Consideration of a recommendation that the Robeson County Comprehensive Plan, with a health and wellness component, be adopted.


— Consideration of an appointment to the Pembroke Planning Board.


— Recognition of county employees with 30 years of service to the county.


The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the commissioners room of the county administration building on North Elm Street
