Elmore — Johnson
Dr. and Mrs. William Elmore of Hope Mills announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Caitlin Elmore to Samuel David Johnson.
Elmore graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a doctor’s degree in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. She works for American Eye Care Optometric Centers.
Johnson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Johnson. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Iowa State University and doctor’s degree in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. He works for Fairmont Optometric Clinic.
The wedding will be held at 1 p.m. on April 5 at Pawley’s Island Community Chapel.
Thompson — Wright
Chestine L. Thompson and the late Roger Dale Thompson of Lumberton announce the engagement of their daughter Capujene Thompson to Mitchell Paul Wright Jr.
Thompson attended Purnell Swett High School, Robeson Community College and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She works for Fresenius Medical Center North America Scotland County Dialysis as a charge nurse.
Wright attended Scotland High School and works for Murphy Brown as a farm manager and is self-employed.
The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Sandals LaToc Resort in St. Lucia.
Carroll — Elich
Renee Nantz Carroll of Lumberton announces the engagement of her daughter Katherine Elizabeth Carroll to Leonardus Cornelius Elich III.
Carroll attended Myers Park High School in Charlotte, and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She works at David’s Bridal as a wedding consultant.
Elich is the son Leonardus Cornelius Elich Jr. of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Heidi Atkinson Elich of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He attended Pinelands Regional High School and Coastal Carolina University. He works in Barnegat Light, N.J., as a commercial fisherman.
The wedding ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. on Jan. 4 at the First Presbyterian Church of Lumberton.
