Thefts


Jimmy Leverine Hughes, of Meadow Road, Lumberton, reported Monday that an armed person assaulted him at Warwick Mill Road and Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton and stole his bike, valued at $100, and phone, valued at $50, according to a police report.


Brenda Harris, of North Elm Street, Lumberton, reported Tuesday that someone broke into her home, damaged $100 worth of clothing and stole her dog, valued at $100, according to a police report.


Tammy Canady, of Parmele Drive, Lumberton, reported Monday that an armed person stole her phone, valued at $120, and $1,500 in cash, according to a police report.


Freddie Hornbuckle reported Monday that someone broke into a customer’s car at Top Notch Auto Repair on Hardin Road in Lumberton, causing $150 in damage to the rear window, and stole a $200 CD player, according to a police report.
