St. Mary Holy Bible Church of God will continue its convening from today until Sunday. The church is located at 69 Chamber St. in Lumberton. The host pastor is Bishop Leo Dawson Sr.

Morning Star Community Baptist Church will continue its youth revival titled “Pursue” from today to Sunday. The service will be held at 7 tonight, Saturday service will be held at 6 p.m. and Sunday’s service will be held at 10 a.m. For information, call the Rev. Aaron Lowery at 910-258-6840.

Harvest Church will have a youth service on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Jeff Barton will be the speaker. A Youth Fun Day will follow the service at 3 p.m.

Singletary Baptist Church will host a community afternoon gathering on Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m. The gathering will feature food, Vacation Bible School registration and ice cream. Vacation Bible School will follow from Sunday to Thursday from 5:45 to 8:30 each day with a commencement ceremony to follow on Aug. 5. The church is located at 4061 Singletary Church Road.

Antioch Baptist Church, located at 2341 Fire Tower Road in Proctorville, will hold its youth and fall revival from Monday to Wednesday at 7:15 nightly. The Rev. Robert D. Williams Sr., associate minister at First Baptist Lumberton, will be Monday night’s speaker; the Rev. Eric P. Sanders, youth pastor at Faith Tabernacle Christian Center in St. Pauls, will be Tuesday night’s speaker; and the Rev. Jerome Billups, pastor of Greenville Baptist Church in Lumberton, will be Wednesday night’s speaker.

Christ Worship Center, located at 4453 Black Bridge Road in Parkton, will host a Family Festival Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The church will give away more than 800 book bags with school supplies. The event will also feature food trucks, turkey legs, a video game truck, free haircuts for boys and more. The Robeson County Church and Community Center will have its annual meeting on Aug. 18 at Chestnut Street United Methodist Church in the Asbury Fellowship Hall at 5:30 p.m. A light dinner will be provided. Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will have a summer revival from Aug. 17 to 19 with nightly services at 7. The speaker will be Paul McDowell, pastor of Arrow Swamp Missionary Baptist Church in Rowland.

Morning Star Community Church, located at 702 Dunn Road in Lumberton, will host a Brotherhood Singing on Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. featuring Morning Star Sanctuary Choir, Morning Star Praise Team, The Locklears and Wendy, Sounds of Praise and Bobby Deal and Family. Greenville Baptist Church will celebrate its homecoming on Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jerome Billups speaking.

Northside Church, located on Circle Drive in Lumberton, will host an anniversary singing tonight at 7. The pastor is Timmy Hunt.

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, located on U.S. 301 in Lumberton, will host the Moriah’s 16th anniversary singing on Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. The concert will feature The Moriah’s, The Singing Revelations, Unity Quartet, The Tyler’s and Three Day’s Journey. First Baptist Church of Fairmont will host its second annual JJ Johnson Scholarship Golf Tournament on Aug. 13 at Pinecrest Country Club in Lumberton. Registration and check-in will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The cost to play is $50 per player or $200 per team. Fees include green fees, cart, range balls, scoring, water, juice and a catered lunch. First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton invites the community to listen to the church’s services online at FPCLive.com every Sunday at 11 a.m.

Lighthouse Ministries food pantry, located at 8878 N.C. 72 E. in Lumberton, serves the communities of Long Branch, Sand Hill, Broadridge, Mt. Elm, Smyrna, Proctorville, Orrum, Barnesville, Fairmont and Marietta. The pantry opens every second Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lighthouse Ministries will distribute TEFAP government commodities between 10 a.m. and noon on the third Saturday of each month for all of Robeson County.
