Bell - Alvarado
Victoria Bell, of Lumberton, and David Alvarado, of Dayton, Ohio, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. on June 18, 2014, at the St. Frances DeSales Catholic Church. The Rev. John Gillespie officiated the wedding and music was provided by pianist Dan Hunter and soloist Greg Malinsky.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Joseph and Vicki Bell, of Lumberton, and the granddaughter of James and Sarah Bell, of Pembroke. She attended Lumberton High School and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and works for the Public Schools of Robeson County.
The groom is the son of Eduardo and Anna Maria Alvarado, of Lumberton. He attended Lumberton High School and the U.S. Air Force Academy, and currently serves with the U.S. Air Force.
The maid of honor was Katy Hardee. The best man was Eduardo Alvarado. Ushers were Isaac Bell and Jamie Bell. Greeters were T.J. and Meredith Palmieri.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
A wedding reception was held at Candy Sue’s in downtown Lumberton. The couple spent their honeymoon in Key West, Fla., and St. Lucia, and will live in Fairborn, Ohio.
