Cooper too busy running foroffice to defend voter-ID law

To the Editor,

I would like to know why Attorney General Roy Cooper refuses to defend North Carolina in voter-ID case in court?

Democratic appointees recently struck down the common sense voter-ID law. Despite the fact that the law has widespread support among Democrats and Republicans, the judges ruled contrary to the the will of the people and Cooper refuses to defend North Carolina in court.

Voter ID is also the law in many other states ànd they had no problem with the law. It is a law that simply guarantees the fairness of our elections. Obama appointees to the courts are simply ignoring the will of the people. It is a blatant political decision and Cooper will not do his job and defend North Carolina in court.

Cooper is too busy running for governor to do his job.
