Barnes-White
Dwayne and Teresa Barnes of Chadbourn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelse Brianna Barnes, to Wesley Scott White, the son of Melinda Jiles and the late Jason White of Temple, Ga.
Barnes attended Columbus Christian Academy and works for Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
White was home schooled in Georgia and works for Mote Farms.
Cummings-Jacobs
The late Martha Brooks and the late William Bledsole announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Cummings, of Lumberton, to Hilton Jacobs, the son of the late Cora Lee Jacobs and the late Lee Jacobs of Lumberton.
Cummings attended Fairgrove High School and is retired.
Jacobs attended Pembroke Senior High and works for Gilford Bills.
The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on June 23 at Gods Chosen Generation.
Smith-Brown
Larry “Doug” Smith of Augusta, Ga., and Jo Ann Baker Smith of St. Pauls, announce the engagement of their daughter, Treina Marie Smith to Christopher Lamont Brown, the son of Harold Brown Sr. and Brenda Patterson McEachin of Red Springs.
Smith is a full-time employee of Hyatt Hotels and Suites in Charlotte.
Brown is attending Central Piedmont Community College and majoring in Culinary Technology. He works at La’Wan’s Soul Food Restaurant in Charlotte.
The wedding will be held on Oct. 27. The place and time will be announced at a later day. The couple will reside in Charlotte.
