Charlie McNeill, 71, of 602 E. Eure St., died Oct. 8, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Holiness Church, the Rev. Alexander Glover officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Holiness Church.

He is survived by a wife, Nellie McNeill; four sons, Charlie McNeill of St. Pauls, Eugene McNeill of Greenville, Lee Vernon McNeill of Fayetteville and Jerry McNeill of Fayetteville; three daughters, Janice Harrell of St. Pauls, Tasha Simpson of Garner and Charlene Smith of Fayetteville; six brothers, Thomas Whitehead, Lee G. Washington and Charles Washington, all of St. Pauls, Larry McKinnon of Lumberton, Henry Washington of Charlotte and William T. Washington of Greensboro; eight sisters, Essie Mae Martin, Vistula Humphrey, Elsie F. Washington, all of St. Pauls, Vish Washington and Delilah Gaddy and Olivia Brown, all of Fayetteville, Mary E. Humphrey of Suitland, Md,. and Delvis Hicks of Durham; and 23 grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Colvin Funeral Home & Cremations.
