Armed robbery

LUMBERTON — Stephon Malloy, of Duncan Street, Hope Mills, and Jarvis Purvis, of Can Road, Maxton, reported that someone stole $400 cash, a $140 cellphone, a $400 cell phone and a $30 wallet from them at gunpoint while they were at 707 Wren St., according to a police report.

Thefts

LUMBERTON — Ricky Pittman, of Low Prices Auto Sales at 103 W. Second St., reported on Saturday that someone stole a 1992 Jeep Cherokee from the car lot, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Elizabeth Kanefsky, of Miami, Fla., reported on Friday that someone stole a $5,000 wardrobe from the back of her 2010 Ford truck while it was parked at Best Western at 201 Jackson St., according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Brandi Locklear, of Roberts Avenue, reported on Friday that someone stole her $100 bicycle from her home, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Alicia Rich, of Verizon Wireless at 3211 Fayetteville Road, reported on Friday that someone stole a $629 iPad from a display at the business, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Thuron Copeland, of McArthur Street, reported on Friday that someone stole a $200 box of vinyl siding from his backyard, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Patty Locklear, of Elizabethtown Road, reported on Sunday that someone stole her 1997 Ford Taurus valued at $300 while it was parked at her home, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Kathryn Jordon, of Kmart at 2750 Roberts Ave., reported on Sunday that someone stole her $400 cell phone off of a register at the business, according to a police report.

Vandalism

LUMBERTON — Tiffany Emma McMillan, of N. Roberts Avenue, reported on Sunday that someone caused $200 worth of damage to her car while it was parked at Walmart at 5070 Fayetteville Road, according to a police report.

Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Gina Denise Britt, of Bud Stevens Road, Evergreen, reported on Friday that someone broke into her 2012 Chevrolet Malibu while it was parked at Biggs Park Mall at 2916 N. Elm St. and stole a $100 GPS and a $200 handgun, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Latricie Harrison, of Georgetown Circle, Fayetteville, reported on Saturday that someone broke into her 1994 Honda Accord while it was parked on the southbound side of Interstate 95 at exit 17 and stole a $350 amplifier and two speakers valued at $800, according to a police report. Damage to the car was estimated at $300.

LUMBERTON — Donnie Blackburn, of Short Drive, reported on Saturday that someone broke into his 2002 Ford truck while it was parked at his home and stole a $200 handgun, a $300 handgun, a $209 camera, a $250 camera, a $600 GPS, and a $250 GPS, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Greg McNeil, of North Ridge Street, Southern Pines, reported on Saturday that someone broke into his 1993 Mercedes 190E while it was parked at Piedmont Natural Gas at 100 Jasper Drive and stole a $200 stereo, according to a police report. About $50 of damage was done to the vehicle.

LUMBERTON — Adia Peguise, of Minnesota Street, reported on Saturday that someone broke into her 1994 Mazda 626 while it was parked at her home and stole a $400 laptop, a $90 flat iron, $200 cash and personal hygiene items valued at $100, according to a police report.

Pembroke is one of the highest crime areas in Robeson County. It is amazing every day to see no listings of breaking and entering a in Pembroke. I wonder why the Robesonian is not getting the info on Pembroke!!!

I think if this county would set a example of the ones already sitting in jail for stealing (granted they are found guilty) and make harder laws for these junk yards you wouldn't see so much of this in the news everyday! It is sad that people like me can't leave home just to work without worrying about my home.
