Burglary
Cornelia Amanda Locklear, 24, of 1820 Crenshaw Road, St. Pauls, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with the Oct. 12 break-in to a home on Nettie Drive in Shannon, according to sheriff’s Maj. Howard Branch.
Branch said that Locklear stole $1,000 cash, a $1,000 handgun, a $1,200 shotgun, $400 worth of ammunition and prescription medication.
Locklear is charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and larceny of a firearm. She is being held at the Robeson County jail on $10,000 bond.
Assault
Andrea Renee Dial, 30, of 52 Ollinsway Drive, Pembroke, was arrested and charged on Wednesday with stabbing Louellen Chavis, 46, during a fight.
Sheriff’s Maj. Howard Branch said that at about 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dial and Chavis began fighting at a home on Santa Fe Drive in Pembroke and Dial stabbed Chavis in her left side and cut Chavis’ left arm. Mona Jones, 45, was also cut when she tried to break up the fight.
Dial is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and is being held at the Robeson County jail on $20,000 bond.
Armed robbery
LUMBERTON — Roberta Pugh, of South Bond Street, Rowland, reported on Wednesday that a man and a woman approached her in the parking lot of Hardee’s Restaurant at 101 Jackson Court and stole $495 cash from her at knife point, according to a police report.
Thefts
LUMBERTON — Michael A. Fladger, of Marion Road, reported on Wednesday that someone stole a $100 bicycle from his home, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Ivy Lupo, of Oakcrest Drive, Wilmington, reported on Tuesday that someone stole her $35 purse, a $15 wallet, an identification card valued at $35, a $70 cell phone and $160 cash, off of a table at Holiday Inn at 101 Wintergreen Drive, according to a police report.
