Deanna Hunt
LUMBERTON — Deanna Jacobs Hunt, of 723 Bobby’s Circle, departed this life and entered into eternal life, saying with both arms raised, “I shall not die, I will live again.” Deanna was born Dec. 2, 1964, and after a long term illness she went to be with the Lord on Feb. 11, 2013.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant View Baptist Church, the Revs. Rickey Burnett and Lacy Lambert Officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacobs Cemetery.
Deanna was preceded in death by her mother, Mable Jones and Christian Walters.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Hunt of the home; five children, Bridget Jones, Brandon Jacobs, Brant Jacobs, Brenna Jacobs, and Genoa Hunt, all of the home; two stepchildren, Demont Hunt and Ysela Faye Maynor, both of Lumberton; four grandchildren, Braylon Jones, Brendan Jones, Breanna Jones, and Braley Jones; five stepgrandchildren, Jasmine Hunt, Hailey Hunt, Brannigah Maynor, Tamela Maynor; a sister, Donna Butler; a niece, Brooke Butler; a great-niece, Taylor Jacobs; and a very special sister-in-law, Denise Hunt; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Services entrusted to Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
