Edith Locklear

FAIRMONT — Edith “Bunkin” Oxendine Locklear, 81, of 1667 Raynham Road, passed away Jan. 24, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Benson Chapel Baptist Church, the Revs. Johnny Locklear, Thurman Scott and Gary Deese officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Zide Locklear of the home; three daughters, Diane Locklear and husband Merril and Judy Stanley and husband Robert, all of Rowland and Sylvia Locklear of the home; two sons, Ronnie and Bobby Locklear, both of the home; five sisters, Carrie Bell Hunt of Rowland, Lula Jane Hunt of Lumberton, Magalene Locklear, Peggy Hunt and Annie Rogers, all of Fairmont; a brother, R.L. Oxendine of Rowland; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
