Evie Hammonds, 90, of Lumberton, died Dec. 27, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Elrod Baptist Church, the Revs. Gary Chavis and Roy Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in New Point Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Prathen Oxendine of Russellville, Ala., and Johnny Oxendine of Pembroke; four daughters, Lea Freeman, Margaret Revels, Faye Dial and Joy Locklear, all of Pembroke; a brother, Clyde Oxendine; four sisters, Ella Huggins, Sallie Sampson, Linda Hammonds and Betty Simmons, all of Lumberton; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
