Geraldine Mitchell Powers, 80, of Parkton, died Nov. 21, 2012, at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Parkton Presbyterian Church, the Revs. David Hudson, Raymond Wade and Pastor Tad Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Parkton Cemetery.
She was born July 18, 1932, in Nottoway County, Va., to the late Samuel Turner and Violet Byerly Mitchell. She was a nutrition site manager in Parkton and a member of Parkton Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Powers.
She is survived by daughters, Pam Sealey, Sandy Jackson and her husband Nelson, and Kelly Skinner and her husband Jim; three grandsons, Robert Sealey, Matthew Jackson and Crawford Skinner; two granddaughters, Samantha and Haley Skinner; and two great-grandsons, Brandon and Waylon Sealey.
The visitation with the family will be at the church after the cemetery committal service.
