Henrietta Hunt Griffin, 86, of Monroe, passed away Nov. 18, 2012, at Monroe Manor Assisted Living on Baucom Road of Monroe.
A graveside service will be 4 p.m. today at Hopewell Baptist Church in Monroe, the Rev. Joe Mullis officiating.
Griffin was born Oct. 4, 1926, in Robeson County to the late Harmon Hunt and Victoria Jacob Hunt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nay James Griffin in 2000; four brothers; and two sisters.
Griffin is survived by her sister, Elsie Mae Bryant of Red Springs and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland.
