To the Editor,

What kind of congressman does the 8th Congressional District of North Carolina need? It needs a congressman who can go to work on day one. Richard Hudson is ready to start work on day one. His whole life he has fought for the conservative cause, he has worked on several different congressional staffs and as soon as he is sworn in, he can start work.

While Rep. Larry Kissell might be a fine gentleman, he is not the type of representative we need. He says he is a conservative, but yet he has voted for Nancy Pelosi to be speaker of the House, he says he is proud to be a Democrat, but yet he refuses to endorse an incumbent Democrat for re-election as president. Seems to me Congressman Kissell just wants to win elections.

Richard Hudson will not shy away from conservative values and on day one he will begin working for a better North Carolina. It is time we elect someone who is ready for the job and will not stop working until that job is done. On Nov. 6, make a difference and let you voice be heard. Elect Richard Hudson for Congress.
