Nonie Rose Pittman, 69, of Lumberton, died Nov. 5, 2012, at Wesley Pines Retirement Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Gardens of Faith Mausoleum, the Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.

She was born in Robeson County on April 7, 1943, to the late Samuel Ward and the late Mary Branch Ward. She previously worked in insurance sales.

Pittman is survived by a daughter, Kim Noble and husband Les of Lumberton; two brothers, Sammy Ward and wife Peggy and Joe Ward and wife Eunice, all of Lumberton; a sister, Jean Ward Parnell of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Sarah, and Samuel Noble; and several nephews and nieces.

A brunch will be held following the service at the home of Kim and Les Noble, 102 Red Oak Court in Lumberton.
