Children from the First Baptist Church Lumberton Youth Department and Antioch Baptist Church participated in the 2012 annual African American History Quiz Bowl on Feb. 25. First Baptist Church, at the conclusion of the second game, had a point total of 196 points — the highest of all three teams. The team received medals, trophies and a plaque for the church.
