Ryan Douglas Locklear, 19, was born March 2, 1993, and departed this life on Nov. 4, 2012.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Smyrna Baptist Church, the Revs Carl Pevia, Jerry Groves and Dr. Micheal Cummings officiating. Interment will follow in the Robeson Memorial Park.
Ryan was the son of Randy Edward Locklear Sr. and Flecia Maynor Locklear.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Randy Edward Locklear Jr.; paternal grandfather, the Rev. Ronald “Boobie” Locklear; great-grandfather, Alfred Locklear; great-grandmother; Louise Britt.
He left his precious memories and rich heritage with his brother, Justin Wayne Locklear, and a sister, Amber Renee Locklear, both of Lumberton; his paternal grandmother, Velma Hunt Locklear of Lumberton; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Patsy Maynor, both of Lumberton; paternal great-grandmother, Eunice Locklear of Fayetteville, maternal great-grandmother, Tessie Maynor, maternal great-grandfather, James Britt, all of Lumberton; two nephews, Landon Cole Locklear and Kamden Jayce Locklear, both of Lumberton; his aunt, Nicole Maynor Wheeler and husband Mike of Tampa, Fla.; an uncle, Jamey Maynor of Lumberton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends form 7 to 9 p.m. today at Smyrna Baptist Church, 8003 N.C. 211 East, Lumberton.
