Ted Prevatte
CHADBOURN — Ted Prevatte, 79, of 3948 Princess Ann Road, died Jan. 2, 2013, at Columbus County Hospital.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. today at Lawson Cemetery in Orrum.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a farmer and was employed by the N.C. Department of Correction.
He is survived by a special friend, Linda Lawson Prevatte of Orrum; a son, Allen Prevatte of Chadbourn; four daughters, Emily Prevatte and special friend Carey Daniels of Lumberton, Denise Williamson and husband Eddie of Chadbourn, Jo Ann Oliver and husband Jeff of Fairmont and Renee Prevatte of Chadbourn; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery.
