SATURDAY

Food fair: Fairmont’s Trinity United Methodist Women will hold a Fall Food Fair on Saturday from 10a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity United Methodist Church.

There will be homemade cakes, pies, cookies, breads, casseroles and crafts for sale, as well as soup and sandwiches for lunch or take-away.

Proceeds from sales will benefit the Methodist Women’s scholarships and charitable activities in the community and the world.

Veteran’s program: The town of Fairmont will hold a Veteran’s Day program at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Fairmont Heritage Center.

There will be singers and a flag ceremony. The guest speaker will be Robert Delane Shaw. The public and all veterans are invited to attend.

Festival: Pembroke’s annual street festival, Crusin’ Pembroke, will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street.

There will be food, crafts, exhibits, live entertainment and games.
