LUMBERTON — A Lumberton police officer is recovering after being injured in a traffic accident today.Deana Locklear was taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center, according to Chief Michael McNeill. The Robesonian was unable to confirm whether she has been realesed.Locklear was hurt when her patrol car was hit by another vehicle near the intersection of 10th Street and Godwin Avenue.McNeill said he believes the other driver has been charged.The Robesonian will continue to update this story as it develops.
