CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson starters Mike Williams, a receiver, and linebacker Korrin Wiggins were injured in a team scrimmage.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Wednesday that Williams injured a hamstring and Wiggins hurt his knee. Clemson’s policy is not to identify specifics in injuries, such as left or right knee.

Swinney says Williams’ injury did not appear serious. The coach says he was more concerned about Wiggins’ knee and needed to get a fuller report before evaluating when the junior might return.

Williams had 57 catches for a team high 1,030 yards last season. He also had six touchdowns and started 11 of 13 games last season.

Wiggins played primarily at nickel back last season, starting six games. He finished with 40 tackles and two interceptions for the Tigers a year ago.
