PEMBROKE — Purnell Swett’s Tala Locklear will continue her golf career at Sandhills Community College, she announced Friday.
The senior made her decision official in front of family, friends and faculty in Purnell Swett’s media center.
One of two senior leaders for the Lady Rams, Locklear helped Purnell Swett make program history as one of five players earning a spot in 4-A regionals last season.
Fellow senior Meredith Godwin will continue her golf career at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
