EVANS, Ga. — Sophomore Jordan Walshaw racked up on some postseason hardware Thursday evening at the annual Peach Belt Conference Soccer Awards banquet on the eve of the 2016 PBC Final Four in Evans, Ga.

Walshaw was awarded the league’s coveted Golden Ball Award after pacing the PBC with 13 goals during the regular season. The Sheffield, England, product, who ranks second in the league with 30 points, was also lauded with second team all-conference laurels as well.

Walshaw scored at least one point (goal or assist) against 10 different opponents this season, including a season-best five points (2 goals, 1 assist) against both Clayton State and Georgia Southwestern. Walshaw turned in multi-goal efforts against three other opponents as well, while also tacking up a team-best 56 shots, including 28 on target.

A two-year starter for the Braves, Walshaw has played in 31 career games (29 starts) for the Black & Gold and has registered 43 points on 17 goals (3 game-winners) and nine assists. He has already logged 100 career shots, including 46 shots on goal.
