Golf balls won’t be only things being hit Thursday at the Fairmont Golf Course. At 5:30 p.m. the Tim Clark Band will be cranking out a few of their own at the Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd annual Sizzling Summer Beach Blast.
This event has drawn hundreds of beach music enthusiasts over the past two years, as they came to enjoy a nice spring evening and fill up on beach and blues music.
There is no admission for the event and there will be plenty of great food from Bill’s BBQ and Concessions and beverages for sale.
The Tim Clark Band, who won the best new beach band at the beach music awards recently, will be the featured entertainment which lasts from 5:30-9:00 p.m. This is one of several events which the Chamber of Commerce presents to bring folks together.
The Chamber also hosts a Farmers Festival Golf Tournament, a Chamber Broil Dinner, a Christmas party, and support the Public Schools of Robeson County Student of Excellence program. Chamber President Kelly Johnson encourages everyone to grab a lawn chair and come enjoy the Beach Blast on Thursday evening.
