The team sponsored by Metcon of Pembroke — Brad Locklear, Kelly Lowery, Ashton Woods and Ryan Bass — came in first place. The team of Johnathan Blue, David Locklear, James Smith and Gerald Strickland, sponsored by county Commissioner Noah Woods, came in second.
The person the tournament honors, the late Clifford Bullard, designed Cliffwood Golf Course and opened it.
Texas Scramble winners from Sept. 16 were Mike Britt, Roy Williamson, Tom Jones and Wayne Mishue. Wilkie Lowry won the special event.
Craig Locklear was the winner of the Regular Division in the Cliffwood Club Championship. Michael Graham was runner-up, and Roy Williams was medalist.
Jimmy Stone won the Senior Division, and Donald Barnes was runner-up.
Ladies League winners from Monday were Sally Carr and Jean Crouch. Helen George won the special event.
Captain’s choice winners from Tuesday were Andy Warner, Wilkie Lowry, Gene Brumbles, Robert Newberry and Richard Moore. Mel Britt and Wilkie Lowry won special events.
Texas Scramble winners from Wednesday were Patrick Meadows, Tim Parnell and Tom Jones. Stan Winberry won the special event.
The next Senior Shootout is Tuesday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The Bill Alston Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday. The cost to play is $40 and there are $50 sponsorships for sale. The entry fee includes lunch and plenty of prizes.

Dakota Locklear and Walter Ghaffar have both won their first two U.S. Kids Myrtle Beach Fall Tour events. Locklear, 11, won his first two events by more than 10 strokes while Ghaffar scored a 15- stroke victory in nine holes in the first event and then won in a one-hole playoff last week at the Black Bear Course.
Dalance Locklear grabbed a second place finish in the 11U group at the Black Bear while Kajun Hunt has a third and a fourth place finish so far in the 10U age group. Eric Locklear has a pair of third place finishes in the 9U age division.
All the junior golfers are members of Jamie Locklear Golf Academy based at Pinecrest Country Club.
The Red Springs Chamber of Commerce will hold the Red Springs Invitational Golf Tournament on Oct. 6 with play beginning at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start.
The format is four-person captain’s choice and the cost if $60 per player, or $240 per team. Hole sponsorships are $100.
There will be prizes for the top three teams, plus plenty of on-course prizes.
