To the Editor,
Sarah Palin is not running for president. She is a “wacky” lady that Sen. McCain owed a big favor.
That’s why she is where she is. She likes to see herself on TV. That is why she rides a bus around the country for no good reason except to make money. She has made millions off of poor Americans by writing books and riding around America on a big bus and signing her autograph. Never proclaiming to be a candidate for anything.
I am sure that Palin has a new “book” deal up her sleeves and this latest bus tour is simply a decoy to get her face in the press. Don’t be deceived by that smile. There is more money to be made by book deals and TV deals than being the president of the United States. And Sarah Palin has made millions these past few years.

I don't have a problem with any of the points that you made. Not a one. My problem is with Palin, who has deceived the American people over the past few years by pretending to be a candidate for President of the US.
And by deceiving us that she was a candidate for President is where she has made all of her riches.
Books, a TV reality show, more books, and a TV news talk show.
And most recently she has "again" declined to run for President.
There seems to be a negative tone to your letter, and that just seems like jealousy or you being a hater. She's making a good living writing books and riding around in a bus. No one is putting a gun to anyone's head to make them by the books or go see her speak. How people choose to spend their money is their business. If people were willing to buy my books, pay to hear me speak, and ask me my opinions on TV, I'd do it, too.
As for McCain owing her a favor, I think it's the other way around. His campaign was heading for the gutter before he picked her as his running mate. Soon after the polls were very close. It was only after the economic collapse in late September and a concentrated media effort to vilify Palin that Obama pulled ahead for good.
