Jackie Deshawn Harris, of 149 E. Worth St., was arrested Saturday during a traffic stop in Anson County, said Sgt. Kathy Torre of the Sheriff's Office's Juvenile Task Force.
Warrants had been issued on April 13 charging Harris with four felonies, two counts of statutory rape and two counts of statutory sex offense.
The charges date back to November 2004. The alleged victim, who lives in Parkton, was 14 at the time. Torre said the two are acquaintances.
Harris was detained at the Anson County Detention Center over the weekend and was transferred to the Robeson County jail on Monday. He is under a $20,000 bond.
