The parade will be held on Broad Street, beginning at 4 pm. Later that evening, the Bulldogs will host the West Bladen Knights at 7:30 pm. During halftime, a queen and king will be crowned.
A SPHS alumnus, Philip Edwards, is trying to jazz up the Homecoming Parade by organizing a band reunion.
"We're asking all former marching band students of Dr. Ward B. Wall to get together and march in the parade as a tribute to him," Mr. Edwards said. "The former musicians won't have to worry about scrounging up their instruments, although they are certainly welcome to bring them and we'll play if we can. We will have a drum line to make marching fun, easier, more exciting and to bring back some memories, while thanking Dr. Wall for all the years he gave to band students here in St. Pauls. Maybe this tribute will grow into a scholarship named for Dr. Wall and presented to a SPHS student who will study music or music education. That would be nice if it could happen."
