LUMBERTON - Authorities are looking for a Lumberton man who is charged in the shooting death of 30-year-old Cory Faulk earlier this month near South of the Border.

Lawmen say Kelvin Deend Addison, 27, of Quail Run Road, shot Faulk once in the chest as Faulk sat in a car outside a nightclub off U.S. 301 on March 3. Faulk died shortly afterward, at about 3:15 a.m., as his friends rushed him to St. Eugene Hospital in Dillon.

Addison is charged with first-degree murder.

The shooting followed an argument that included Faulk, Addison and two other Lumberton men, Jamiel Ellis, 29, and Javaris Ellis, 25, both of 1225 Benny Road, according to authorities. The Ellis brothers surrendered to Dillon County sheriff's deputies last week. They have each been charged as accessories and are being held in the Dillon County jail without bail.

Robeson County sheriff's deputies are assisting in the investigation.

“I know he's here in the Lumberton area ... he's been to businesses here,” Robeson County sheriff's Maj. J.A. Hunt said.

Anyone with information can call Hunt at the Robeson County Sheriff's Office at 671-3100 or the Dillon County Sheriff's Office at (843) 774-1432.
