The Carolina Shaggers step in with a $100 donation, and there is a $50 gift in memory of the late Dr. A.R. Pittman Jr. and his wife.
The gifts push the fund's total to $10,115.
Remember, the deadline to contribute is Dec. 19, earlier this year than in past years. Gifts can be mailed c/o The Empty Stocking Fund, The Robesonian, P.O. Box 1028, Lumberton, N.C., 28359, or delivered in person to our office at 2175 Roberts Ave.
Gifts will be listed in the newspaper the day after they are received.
