To the Editor,

The national debt has grown from $9 trillion in 2007 to $15 trillion in 2011. That is an increase of about $6 trillion in four years, or about $1.5 trillion per year. The collective legislative body of our federal government could not find $1.3 trillion in budget cuts over 10 years.

They appointed a super committee, six democrats and six republicans, and charged them with the responsibility of finding $ 1.3 trillion in cuts over the next 10 years. The super committee couldn’t do it either. The entire legislative body, the Congress and the Senate, Democrats and Republicans alike, has failed us and this has been going on for several decades. We must replace as many of them as possible, as soon as possible.

The entire 435-member U S House of Representative is up for re-election in 2012. GOOOH (see www.goooh.com) has a plan to select citizen candidates to compete against every incumbent is the incumbent’s primary in 2012. Learn about the GOOOH plan, join GOOOH (it’s free) and become part of the solution. Together we can replace the grossly ineffective career politicians.

We simply cannot afford two more years of the “Washington Follies.”

Throwing them all out would be great. Term limits would be even better.
