To the Editor,
In regard to the letter to the editor by Demetrus Locklear on May 1, I am glad he has lived all over the country. He must be very old, because we have a large county! It’s a shame he could not find a home where there were no “Bible-thumping” Christians so he could live his lifestyle without someone trying to show him the way to eternal life!
It amazes me that homosexual people and others quote a few words from the Bible to help sear their conscience. Mr. Locklear, please read 1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Timothy 1:10, Romans 1:20-29. I don’t the thump my Bible, but I read it and study it.
From your letter, Mr. Locklear, it sounds as if you repeat what others have said. Perhaps it would be better to study the Holy Bible yourself instead of listening to what others say. Read Proverbs 3:7.
