Vendors needed

for craft show

LUMBERTON — The First Presbyterian Church of Lumberton is accepting applications for vendors at its Leaping Lizards Craft and Home Show on Oct. 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Oct. 19 from noon to 8 p.m.

The event will be held in the activities building at 1002 N. Chestnut St. All proceeds from vendor rentals will go to Lumberton Christian Care.

Bingo event

set for Sept. 22

LUMBERTON — The Fabulous Floozies, a Relay For Life team, will host the a Cow Chip Bingo, which is a chicken or BBQ plate sale, to raise money for cancer research on Sept. 22 at Southeastern Agricultural Center/Farmers Market at 1027 U.S. 74 East at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets, which are $50, buy a dinner for two and a plot of land.

The person assigned the plot of land where the cow does his business wins $1,000.
