Mr. and Mrs. James B. Prevatte celebrated their 70th wedding anniversay with a dinner party at the Village Station restaurant on Aug. 3. hosted by hteir son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Erick K. Prevatte and the granddaughter Daphne Prevatte.
The couple has three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
The couple was married in a chapel in Dillon, S.C., on Aug. 2, 1942.
