LUMBERTON — Southeastern Mobile Medical will be stationed at the following locations at the dates listed.

Monday and Tuesday, Floyd’s Temple Number One, Lumberton; Wednesday and Thursday, LRDA Pembroke; Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., flu shot clinic at Tar Heel Rescue Squad, Tar Heel; Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., flu shot clinic at Godwin Heights Baptist Church, Lumberton; Beauty Spot United Methodist Church, Rowland; Oct. 18 – Mammography Day, noon to 2 p.m., Biggs Park Mall, Lumberton; Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Luther Britt Park, Lumberton; Oct. 22 and Oct. 23, Long Branch Baptist Church, Lumberton; Oct. 24 and 25, Allenton Fire Department, Lumberton; Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, Mill Branch Baptist Church, Fairmont; and Oct. 31,Floyd’s Temple Number One, Lumberton.

Nantachie Chavis, a family nurse practitioner, is the lead medical provider for the mobile unit, which offers primary care and preventative care services, including disease management, vaccinations, routine checkups, treatment for acute and episodic illnesses and injuries, wellness exams, and laboratory analysis.

The mobile unit operates from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted. While cash is not accepted, patients may present insurance information (private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid), money orders or personal checks. Appointments are not required but may be scheduled by calling 910-674-6144.
