PSRC honors

LUMBERTON — The Public Schools of Robeson County recently recognized the following employees:

Darryl “Matthew” Howington, a fifth-grade math and science teacher at L. Gilbert Carroll Middle School, is the district’s certified Employee of the Month; Cassandra Oxendine, an Exceptional Children’s teacher assistant at Deep Branch Elementary School, is the district’s Classified Employee of the Month; and Donna Campbell, a bus driver for Long Branch Elementary School, is the district’s Bus Driver of the Month.

LUMBERTON — Robeson Community College will hold a fashion show to raise money for scholarships at the A.D. Lewis Auditorium on Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, $3 for children younger than 10 and seniors older than 65, and free for RCC students with a valid ID.
