Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Virginia Taylor Becker, of Laundry Express at 3603 Elizabethtown Road, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into the business and stole $850 cash and three cash boxes valued at $60 that contained an unknown amount of money, according to a police report. Damage to the business is estimated at $1,500.

Fraud

LUMBERTON — Chantel Hunt, of Food Lion at 6685 Elizabethtown Road, reported on Thursday that a customer tried to pay with two counterfeit $20 bills, according to a police report.

Theft

LUMBERTON — Jamie Leigh Parker, of Willis Avenue, reported on Wednesday that someone stole a $250 lawn mower and a $70 cooler from her yard, according to a police report.
