n Armed robbery

LUMBERTON — Elwood Bethea, of East First Street, reported on Tuesday that a gunman came to his home and stole $500 cash, according a police report.

n Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Jorge Prado, of East Elizabethtown Road, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier belonging to Veronica Janeth Cruz while it was parked at Total Elite Fitness at 3501 Fayetteville Road and stole a $25 wallet, two identification cards valued at $48, a bank card valued at $20, and $10 cash, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Shanika Glover, of McPhail Road, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her 2011 GMC Terrain while it was parked at her home and stole $80 cash and a $20 bank card, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Paulette Covington Purcell, of Coleman Street, and Amanda Collett, of Warwick Mill Road, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into Purcell’s 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix while it was parked at a home on Pate Street and stole two speakers valued at $800, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Larry Blount, of Nevada Street, reported on Tuesday that someone stole his 2011 moped valued at $2,100 while it was parked at V-Point at 2016 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, according to a police report.

n Thefts

LUMBERTON — Handy Stephens, of Lumberton Kia at 3505 E. Elizabethtown Road, reported on Tuesday that someone stole a payroll check valued at $204 from the business, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Sarah Shipman, of Lovett Road, reported on Tuesday that someone stole a Lincoln Town Car and a Dodge Caravan valued at $2,000 from her home, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Erika Cobbs, of East Seventh Street, reported on Tuesday that someone stole a $100 laptop battery from her home, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Mark Stockton, of Pindale Boulevard, reported on Tuesday that someone stole a 2006 Suzuki four-wheeler valued at $2,000 from the back of his 2004 Chevrolet truck while it was parked at his home, according to a police report.

n Fraud

LUMBERTON — Russell Lee Sweat, of South Elm Street, reported on Monday that someone withdrew $3,500 from his bank account with a stolen bank card, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Rex Holmes Jr., of Bo’s Food Store at 514 Glendale Ave., reported on Wednesday that a customer tried to pay with a counterfeit $5 bill, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Clare Street, of Rent-A-Center at 1715 Roberts Ave., reported on Tuesday that a customer sold three televisions valued at $1,940 that had been rented from the business, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Samuel Pancoast, of Domino’s Pizza at 588 Bailey Road, reported on Tuesday that a customer tried to pay for a meal with a counterfeit $20 bill, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Ruth Morris, of North Roberts Avenue, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her home, causing $175 damage to a window, according to a police report.
