Locklear-Burns
Sandra Owens Howard of Rowland announces the engagement of her daughter, Nicholette Locklear to Charles Edmund Burns, the son of Delton and Lou Ellen Burns of Pembroke. Locklear is also the daughter of the late Jackie Owens.
Locklear is the granddaughter of the late Rosie and Isaiah Chavis of Rowland, Nancy Carol Ross of Pembroke, and Mazie and the late Carvie Owens of Rowland. She attended Robeson Community College and works for Occupational Health at Campbell Soup in Maxton.
Burns is the grandson of Louvenia and Bowman Locklear of Fairmont, and Avie and Rufus Burns of Pembroke. He attended Purnell Swett High and works for Bullard Construction.
The wedding will be held on Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. at the Southeastern Agricultural Center.
