Enough Americans knew we didn’t need Bush again

To the Editor,

I would like to let people know that religion has no place in politics and that the Lord says not to be a part of world and follow his world, not the word of man. The problem with this country does not have anything to do with these so-called Christians who put politics and religion in the same sentence.

I don’t know what everyone else has read or been fed, but I never heard Obama say he was Muslim. However, if he were it is his right as American to be. In regards to what people do with their lives, we are not to judge, but God will put that judgment out there. Obviously they have not read the Bible because it is a sin to judge others.

Second of all, I never heard Obama say that he was for gays or for abortion, but what he said was it was not his job to tell people how to live their lives. Which is what so many people try to do. In my opinion it takes a very insecure person and prejudiced one to judge someone.

George W. Bush sent this nation in a downward spiral, and I don’t see anyone complaining about that. Now they want to go back and put another one in office to send this country into another war and downward spiral. We cannot afford to lose any more of our loved ones over nonsense. We cannot afford another Bush in office and I am grateful that we still have enough people with common sense to see that. If over half the country saw that, what does that say about the Obama bashers?

I did not vote for this Obamination! The reason our country is in a downward spiral is because we the american people are voting for leaders that promote sinful policies just to capture votes. GAY marriage and abortion is totally sin! If this offends you, then you need to get right with God. I know the republican party has their flaws as well, but at least they are not ashamed of God and keep him locked up in their house and arent worried what people thinkg about them for worshipping Jesus, which to us christians is Lord and Savior. If you dont speak against GAY marriage and abortion, then you support it. I will not vote for that. Some people worship this man Obama and cry and pass out! Makes me sick, to see people put their faith in a man and not God! Everything works together for the goodness of God and one day, the one TRUE KING will be brought upon the world and all nations will bow down to him and crown him KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!

Luke 2:1 (KJV)

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Cæsar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

Actually, we are to be involved in the things of the world, but always remember Christ first.

God would not side with abortions, or gay marriage. We can't vote for a party that historically believes you can choose if you abort a child or not, when God tells us all life belongs to him. When we vote for people who believe this, we are in opposition to God.

It takes a special kind of person to write a judgmental letter condemning people for being judgmental. It also takes a special kind of person to write a letter claiming religion should have nothing to do with politics while continuously bringing up religion while making political commentary.

Obama coming out in support of same sex marriage in May, voting in favor of bills that expand abortion every chance he's had, and voting against any bills that restrict abortion every chance he's had makes it pretty clear where he stands on homosexuals and abortions. It's been four years. Maybe you can take a break from blaming Bush for everything that has ever gone wrong in this world, and research your man Obama.

Ross and BBBD: I could not agree more. I have to give Ms. Lewis credit for her comment though, that over half of Americans voted Obama. What she left out is that half of Americans are welfare junkies and illegal immigrants. So long as the Democrats continue to grow that consitituency with their social programs I am afraid they will have a lock on the White House. Still cannot for the life of me figure out why a working person would vote for Obama.

What do you mean no one complained about Bush? I just spent 4 years listening to people blame Bush and still its all I hear...answer me this, why are we facing a fiscal cliff if there isnt an agreement to extend "Bush" era tax cuts?

Lady, the reason Obama won is because of voters LIKE YOU!......

We, "the makers", are now out numbered by the "takers".

To straighten elections out, we need to drug test voters, credit check voters, and not allow anyone who is on public assistance to vote.....

I'm a DEMOCRAT and I voted for President Obama. I'm part of that 60% of sane people in Robeson County. And IN the top PART of the middle class of AMERICA. Even with your remedy to straighten out the elections WE DEMOCRATS would still win. You finish the sentence. You just did away with the republican party in AMERICA.

Pakistan Ross, Pakistan. Beautiful scenery, old fashioned thinking, you don't like what a 14 year old child is saying, you just get on a school bus and shoot her in the head. You can harbor all the terrorists you want. You get to decide who can and cannot vote. Sounds like your kind of place. They're as upset at President Obama as you. Now's a good time for you to leave before the US is totally destroyed and join others of similar thinking.
