Willie McKinley “Pap” Revels

Willie McKinley Revels, 91, of 7937 Deep Branch Road, was born Jan. 12, 1921, and died Nov. 22, 2012, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Steve Strickland, Mike Cummings and Chris Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Airy Church Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Georgianna Oxendine Revels; a brother, James Sampson Revels; and two sisters, Louisanna Lee and Anna Revels Bell.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elier Locklear Revels of the home; two sons, Timothy Revels of Pembroke and Jeffery Revels of the home; a sister, Delina Revels Sanderson of Maxton; a brother-in-law, Frank Lee of Baltimore; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
