First and foremost Gary helsel didn't do the stabbing one of the other boys did and they all three were charged. Gary is one of the sweetest people I know and his tattoos represent the struggles he had in life so to everybody who thinks they can judge him no your role because u ain't god

So 3 "boys" fought 1 man and 1 of them felt they were losing bad enough to stab the 1 man...seems like wonderful people to me...youre right, God will judge in the end but society chooses whether to accept behavior like this...thats why theres a person called a "judge"...so "know" the judges role when he sends this punk to prison...

Obviously the judge and laws know he was innocent Josh locklear jumped on a kid who can't defend himself and he's the one pulled the knife he was stabbed with Gary did nothing to josh he tried pulling the other two men off society is so quick to make assumptions about people it makes me sick. I know and Garys family knows what happened and by the way the law and district attorney knows too all we are waiting for now is his day in court so he can be acquitted of this bs charge. You don't know what ur talking about so mind ur business. The robesonian should be sued for slandering his name.

If I am not mistaken the robesonian reported what the police filed...the DA can drop the charges anytime, not just on the day of court...if he did not report the stabbing to the police then he is just as guilty as they are...thats the law...the robesonian reported that he was charged, he was...and the word youre looking for is libel, not slander which definitely doesnt apply here anyway...

Niki: Struggles?...... What? The boy is 19 years old. He ain't old enough to "have struggles"...

I know a 19 year old kid who struggles everyday, MY SON, serving our country in the US Navy. While this "nothing" is(was) enjoying his freedom. What a pathetic loser this guy is. His parent(s?) FAILED at raising this boy. Failures. While my son is out seeing the world on a ship and having the time of his life. He laughs when he hears about someone around here "struggling"... yeah right.

See you soon Skyler, Dad. Be safe.

This is more than about having an opinion. RossisRight's comments are crossing the line. I bet his punk a-- would run if confronted by this kids parent(s?). It is ashame that the freedoms and liberties your son risk his life to protect, are being exercised by such a narrow-minded dimwit(you Ross). Your son probably joined the Navy to get away from your Hitler-like upbringing. I would like to think that his (Helsel's) parents didn't have being in the robesonian under the crime section, as part of his life's plan. I would hope that they did not take him to get the tats on his face. Ross your attack on his parents are just wrong!!!!!!

This young punk's bail was only $5,000 (Gary Justin Helsel). What in the world is this world coming to! He should have automatically received a $20,000 bail for looking like he does... a criminal!!

Council for the defense is goona earn his money trying to put a respectable face on this character, pun intended.

Anyone know the latest on the fellow who killed his landlord on 5th St last winter and left his body there for several days? Is this gonna be another one where knowing the "right people" releases another killer back into our midst?
